Topics sneaker, pimps, SP5, demo, album. Back in 2005/2006, a music player was fount in a Russian bar, on it contained 7 tracks which were suspect to be from the Sneaker Pimps. Years went passed and many thought it was a hoax until 2 years ago, I managed to get in touch with Liam Howe and he confirmed they are 100% legit. He referred to them as 'The Magnificent Seven'. Sneaker Pimps are a British trip hop band formed in Hartlepool, England, in 1994. They are best known for their first album, Becoming X (1996), and the singles "6 Underground" and "Spin Spin Sugar". They took their name from an article the Beastie Boys published in their Grand Royal magazine about a man they hired to track down classic sneakers

The album was released on LP in 1999, then in 2008 a double, heavy weight, DMM mastered vinyl LP, limited to only 1000 copies world wide was re-released and distributed by 'One Little Indian Records' - there were limited releases on cassette (mainly in Turkey) but as the 90's was coming to an end, they were in limited runs. The album took almost a year to make and was mostly recorded in the bedroom. Notes

In late 2006, a music player was found in a Russian bar, believed to have belonged to Chris Corner. Upon playing it, it was rumoured the songs on it were Sneaker Pimps tracks, since then it has been proved official by Ian Pickering, but still remain unreleased. The tracks were then converted to MP3 and were made available to download via various, MP3 download sites, including the official and unofficial Sneaker Pimps websites.
The vocalist on the album is Paris Hampton from Samsara.
