Rainbow Bridge is a compilation album by American rock musician Jimi Hendrix. It was the second posthumous album release by his official record company and is mostly composed of recordings Hendrix made in 1969 and 1970 after the breakup of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Despite the cover photo and subtitle Original Motion Picture Sound Track, it does not contain any songs recorded during his concert appearance for the 1971 film Rainbow Bridge.
Bliss - who was born Ayalah Bentovim, but prefers to be known as "Blissy" or "La" - is just back from LA where Faithless are putting together their sixth album. Much rests on it, as they have recently parted ways with SonyBMG. Bliss is unflustered. The one other person who has appeared on every Faithless album is Rollo's sister, Dido, talk of whom brings out a protective streak. She's not pretentious, she's not played the celeb game," says Bliss. She's a very good songwriter who connects with so many people but gets a pretty rotten press. Sister Bliss presents Nightmoves' is out on Monday on Godlike & Electric. She will be appearing at South West Four Festival on Clapham Common, London SW4, on Aug 23.
